Yurek Vazquez’ background and experience in trading and finance has been an asset to Banah Sugar, as well as his excellent negotiating skills.  Mr. Vazquez has managed over $10 million worth of stocks, futures, and index trading, outperforming the S&P 500, NASDAQ, and Dow Jones with over 30% sustainable return on investment for the last year.  He has negotiated purchasing and leasing contracts for Banah Sugar that have effectively improved production and lowered cost.
Under Yurek Vazquez’ leadership and its new administration, Banah Sugarhas managed to grow its market share by over 350%, reduced its operating costs by 48% and turned its 300,000 sq. ft. headquarters and warehousing facility into a well-equipped manufacturing and packaging plant with a production capacity of over 42 million units per year.
One of the many successful cost-effective changes initiated by Yurek Vazquez has resulted in improved quality control.  While Banah Sugarimports their 100% pure cane sugar from top-notch plants in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, and Paraguay, their signature product, Banah Liquid Sugar, which was previously also imported, is now produced in-house at their Hialeah, Florida plant.
In-house production has facilitated innovation resulting in a top quality all-natural sugarcane syrup product that is now formulated in several flavors, providing ample versatility for its use.  Banah Liquid Sugar is now available in several flavors:  Original, Vanilla, Hazelnut, Maple and Blueberry, with others to be unveiled.  The Banah Sugar signature product is also available in an USDA Organic version.
Banah Sugar also carries “Special White” Sugar, a washed, not refined white sugar which is a healthier and more natural alternative to the refined version, in addition to Raw Brown Turbinado Sugar, Organic Sugar and Confecsioners’ Sugar.
The Banah Sugar plant is Kosher, Pareve and non-GMO certified.  In addition the plant is double USDA Organic Certified for re-packaging and manufacturing.
Banah’s mission is to produce superior quality 100% natural and organic sugar products while maintaining their promise to impact communities through social, economic and environmental development. “Banah” in Hebrew means “New Beginnings”. Banah® was born on the declaration that every life counts. Banah Sugar strives to be a social program that is in business, claiming that while sugar is their commodity, they are really in the business of people.  Their core is helping people emerge, evolve, and become their true courageous self.
