Banah Sugar is expanding its horizons in the local and national market. The products are on the shelves of Sedano’s Supermarkets, Presidente Supermarkets, Navarro Discount Stores, and now Winn-Dixie has also added Banah Sugar products to its shelves in South Florida.
Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. is a supermarket chain based in Jacksonville, Florida with 485 stores in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, and Mississippi. The chain is a subsidiary of BI-LO, with 207 supermarkets under that brand name, which is owned by Southeastern Grocer.
Banah Sugar carries a variety of products in several textures and flavors, such as “Special White” Sugar, an unrefined, more natural version of the conventional white sugar; Raw Brown Turbinado Sugar, Organic Sugar and Confectioners’ Sugar. However, the company’s niche product is their Liquid Sugar, made of 100% pure cane sugar with no artificial additives or preservatives. The All Natural Liquid Sugar is also available in an Organic version. Both options are produced in the Banah Sugar Hialeah plant in an array of flavors: Original, Vanilla, Maple, Hazelnut and Blueberry.
The versatility of their Liquid Sugar is attractive to chefs and mixologists alike, as it may be used in lieu of Simple Syrup in cocktails, as well as to sweeten hot and cold beverages and foods, while also adding a touch of flavor when using any of the flavored versions.
